Mat is a graduate of Jacksonville High, class of 1990. He graduated from North Carolina State University in 1994. After graduation he worked at Capital Ford of Raliegh for 18 months and then came back to work for his family here at Sanders Ford in 1996. Mat graduated from NADA Dealer Academy in 1997.

He is the proud parent of a Army Ranger and a RN Nurse. He also has a wonderful grandson. In his free time he enjoys riding his Harley.

Valerie started her career in the Auto Business in 1991 working in a bodyshop in Raleigh, North Carolina. She served as Assistant Manager of the BodyShop for 9 years. In 2005 she decided to try her hand in the service department. Val has been with Sanders Ford since August 2009, she currently is working at our Swansboro location. Valerie loves animals and loves refurnishing antiques in her free time.
